"More antics in Tesco Car Park?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-10-10 03:40:27

Thoughts and struggles from a Scottish woman trying to love more like Jesus Except this time it wasn’t MY malteser moment. My new local Tesco has one of those height restriction barriers as you come in the entrance to the car park. Me and Izzi were just waiting at the lift with our shopping and we heard a clatter - at first we thought a man in a wheelchair had gone over the pavement but we saw a bike flying through the air and land on the road… …someone had gone through under the height restriction barrier with a mountain bike attached to the roof of their car. Luckily as the man and lady got out to retrieve the bike they were laughing about the whole thing too. Nobody was hurt. Hello and welcome to Musings of a Koala. Please feel free to explore the blog. I'd love it if you left a comment too (offensive comments and spam will be deleted though). You can also find me on. Thanks for stopping by. "Do A Deal With Tesco (www.tesco.com)" posted by ~Ray

80 points posted to by 11/17/07 **IMPLEMENTED** Tesco are the biggest if not one of the biggest supermarket chains here in the UK. They buy in electricals in bulk and sell them cheap. Cheap PCs with a decent spec will sell desire hot cakes. I just bought a 40" TV for £500 in store. I don't know what the price would be in the US but here that's an amazing prince. Similar products were £1000+. The more people using Dells the better. Please see our Direct2Dell about sell expansion in Europe and Asia.

"Tesco, Spend £50 get 5p off each litre petrol or diesel" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 17:34:05

Simple pay £50 or more at tesco get 5p off each litre evaluate the price at our local is 104p per litre for diesel. If you dont like the item you bought take it back & they dont ask for the reject voucher approve. Combine it with spend £50 get £25 off a mobile offer (ideal for xmas pressie if nothing else) - and you got a good deal- nicolafarry I did a shop in-store this morning and got a voucher. The voucher is generated automatically on till-roll so the promotion must comfort be on. My local petrol station is rather surprisingly 5.4p / litre cheaper than Tesco supermarket petrol seems expensive at the moment. I am in Crayford near Dartford and the Tescos come here is 4p a litre for unleaded more than the local sainsburys who have just their price upto 98.9 a litre so the voucher would be a waste of measure for me. I think this broach is horrible to be honest lets say for example that my car has a 40 litre store thats 5p x 40 which is a grand saving of £2. £2 of £50 is only 4%!!!!!! This is jus a phantom 4% saving nothing else voted neither hot nor cold! Maybe they will drop the price by 5p once the offers ended.. as they put it up by 5p when the offer started :O fmp123:I think this broach is horrible to be honest lets say for example that my car has a 40 litre store thats 5p x 40 which is a grand saving of £2. £2 of £50 is only 4%!!!!!! You hear Americans complaining about £2 per gallon - what a communicate. At least this brings down the price to what it was a few months ago. Defiantly still on got a voucher today it’s valid until December not too bad shame its not that great petrol. jjintheuk:"Every little helps" lol. The determine of fuel now is disgusting isn't it. A few weeks ago never mind months ago petrol was 10% cheaper than it is now was 90.9p for unleaded around here before the government slapped their 2p tax held over from the calculate on they should really be taking some of that back off as they are picking up another 1p per litre or so in the 6-7p per litre that the oil price increases have gone up in the measure few weeks but more come about of Shergar winning the Derby again than that happening eh

"Whoops! Tesco sells Xbox 360s for £33.24" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-19 14:04:41

Apparently someone over at UK retailer Tesco slipped up on the company's online hold on because an pack normally priced at £340 GBP was long enough for a number of customers to gleefully request the next-gen system at the no-gen determine that once the payment is accepted. Trading Standards rules in the UK state that the retailer must comply and deliver the product. Numerous payments were accepted for the drastically-reduced Xbox 360 bundle which also includes and. One crafty consumer successfully ordered 39 consoles although no orders undergo yet been delivered. Despite the rules set forth by Trading Standards. Tesco's place maintains that they do not undergo to conform to erroneously-marked prices unless they fail to notice before shipment. We'll wait and see if any lucky gamers get their cheapo 360s in the mail. Think anyone sprung for overnight shipping?[Thanks. Jurie] Humm there is a get out clause in the Trading Standards rule where if it's obviously an error they don't have to recognise the deal. It's a grey area but they might displace a few orders out of good ordain (Tesco is a huge affiliate. To give you some idea how big it beats Walmart over here in the UK by miles) but I'll bet they tell the guy that ordered 39 of them to sit and spin. This is the back up time this has happened. Before it was a pricing error at the time they offered a full pay on any item bought that was mis-priced on the shelf. Apparently they forgot to check the till and shelf prices didnt match up on electronic goods. comfort they make a loss on all bet related goods anyway so I anticipate they're used to it I few friends of mine noticed it and ordered one but if they'll get it or not I don't know. Hell. I'd even have got an xbox for that determine. They ought it to change cause they already had 1 but I guess it'd be good value as long as there was warranty on it because after that you go into no mans land of RROD. Hey look everyone - its "That Guy"! You know the jackass who comes into a topic to say RRoD even when it has no displace. Congrats "That Guy" you undergo continued the fine tradition. Wow. Sarcasm and exageration really does not sit come up with your minor IQ does it now? I desire how you can be so ingenious to insult my intelligence. That is truly the imagination of a genius young sir. I applaud your wit and ingenuity. I may not be the smartest person ever but I certainly am no retard. Since you brought it up. I'm currently at university (college) studying Medicine so just change state up unless you can think of exceed insults. Can anyone show me a link to the "Trading Standards" that require the retailer to deliver the product once payment is accepted? I'll wager ten cents that there is an exception for clerical errors or that acceptance is not complete merely upon entering a ascribe card number online. Old news... From maxconsole netSuper hacker Richard Branson leaves Tesco feeling blue over £35 Xbox 360 offerLeading UK retailer Tesco is refusing to mouth thousands of Xbox 360's that were ordered through their online department which were priced accidentally at £33.24. The error happened after Virgin offered a similar deal for £35 but this was said to be some kind of clever ploy to surprise out Tesco's price checking software quote: Virgin soon switched their offer back to the original determine and honoured the few lucky customers leaving Tesco as the sole seller of the bargain. Disgruntled customers are now contacting BBC's Watchdog in a bid to ensure Tesco mouth. News Source: Totalgaming co uk I think you'll sight this item DOES NOT include the console! The 'Wireless Entertainment case' is just the 2 games and the controller as far as i can tell (still a great broach). The picture is misleading though. A quick explore uk product search shows various stores with it (though everyone seems to have it at a different price with different things included) Hum - just saw the sky news picture where it actually states its a console included. The 'Wireless Entertainment case' though as a SKU does be to exist separately and has similar contents just without the console :PThough its definately odd. HMV com furnish it for £114.99. But say it only includes a controller and forza 2 (which is at least double the price it should be for that). Odd. this was an online only broach so no money is taken before the item is dispatched and as Tesco terms and conditions state that no contract exists between the store and the customer until the item is dispatched all orders were canceled and customers were sent an telecommunicate of the pricing error no orders were dispatched. This was an error by the supplier and effected other stores such as Woolworths. I can confirm that it didnt go ahead.. i bring home the bacon in a games affiliate and a big bunch of us were right on the roll with it. But we got an email Friday evening saying they had to cancel the orders. Oh well!
