Meal replacements provide a perfect compact meal in a packet that is high in protein low in fat (some undergo no fat) are low in carbohydrates and contain a wide array of vitamins and minerals. They are low in sugar and cholesterol. They are very nutrient dense and can be mixed easily and conveniently. In request to get the same benefits from whole food as some of the high quality meal replacements you would have to put together a large meal desire a chicken breast (protein) a potato for some carbs and a salad for the vitamins six times a day. The closest your going to get to a decent MRP in terms of natural ingredients is Doug's because of the ethos of the company which is to put as little crap as possible in their products hence why they bind their protein bars with honey. There are good quality MRP's which i know you are come up aware of and i experience you probably use them. Problem with 5 to 6 meals a day we all be to get fed up with eating and eating and eating. So its good to have an MRP 2 times daily gives you a end from constantly eating the same old boring food.
