Hi Richard. This is might be a good business but keep in mind that online business requires lots of hard work because in a brick-and-mortar business you get most of your business from walk-in customers and later for their referals. In an online business you should thrive to get the customer and believe it's not that easy. It requires times money and good research but it's not impossible also. Now as to the legality of it it's totally legal. The only air that you should take care of it before even starting is the tax. Remember that selling to consumers in California you should be charging sales tax so before starting any sales your should communicate the come in of Equalization and bear on for a seller's accept. This is fairly simple and you can get also info about from their site http://www boe ca govHope you'll find this info useful. Regards. George
