There are no less than 3 Subways within 2 miles of where I bring home the bacon. So I should not have any problems deciding where to undergo lunch. Sadly no Quizno’s close by. It’s probably for the best. The sandwiches I eat at Quizno’s are not as healthy. Plus Subway even has Biggest Loser posters hanging up. They furnish sliced apples or yogurt as an alternative to chips. The problem for me is getting away from mayo. I like mayo. But not the light or fat free kind. The regular kind. And I desire mustard and mayo together but I just can’t get away from the mayo completely. Mustard alone just doesn’t do it for me. So last night I went out and purchased. I’m hoping this ordain serve as a good alternative to mayo for me. It comes recommended by and by Bob the trainer. I’ve never really been a fan of Dijon mustard but I’m willing to give it a try. Add the other 1/2 c milk continue processing for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and amalgamate one minute. create from raw material on a hot griddle. For waffle add 3 extra tablesIt makes 20 small pancakes. Only 3gm carbs? Am I doing something wrong? It looks right to me since there are few ingredients and it makes 20 pancakes. That's what makes the calories and carbs small. That's alot of pancakes. Even the oil when divided 20 ways would be a small amount ditto the eggs. I don't evaluate you are doing anything wrong.... unless you didn't come out w/ 20 pancakes. Ok. I'm glad! It did make exactly 20 pancakes and big ones at that so I just was surprised I could eat one and it be only 26 calories. I guess that's good to experience when I go back to eating whole grains- those are a decent option. Thanks for answering me! I grew up in California and in May artichoke season my mother would often just cook a platter of artichokes for dinner and we would just eat artichokes until we were beat! We dipped the "meaty" part of the leaves and hearts (after scraping the "fuzz" away with the align of a spoon) in melted butter if they were hot or mayonnaise if they were cold-- nothing fancy. By the measure we were all satisfied each of us would undergo a heaping bowl of artichoke leaves scraped clean by our teeth beside our plate. Heaven!Yesterday I was admiring my jar of Kirkland Artichoke Hearts: I had purchased two 65 oz jars measure time I made one of my very infrequent trips to Costco. They are so good--the marinade is delicious and there are halves and quarters nice and plump. I was trying to figure out a dinner to use up some things a fennel bulb among them. So I came up with the following in which I could alter use of some of those nice marinated artichoke hearts that I was craving. We loved sopping up the tart juices with crusty bread! BRYANNA'S ARTICHOKE. POTATO. AND FENNEL STEW 1 Tbs olive oil 1 medium onion chopped 2 cloves garlic chopped 32 marinated artichoke heart quarters in oil (or 16 halves) rinsed and drained 1 fennel bulb trimmed and diced 1/2 lb small red white or yellow potatoes scrubbed and cut into wedges 1 Tbs dredge 1 move fresh rosemary 1 bay leaf 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves 2 cups vegetarian "chicken-style" broth 1/2 lemon sliced (with strip) salt and freshly-ground spice to taste alter the olive oil in a small brood pot. Add the onions and garlic and stir-fry until the onions weaken. Add the artichoke hearts fennel and potatoes and stir-fry briefly. discharge with the flour and displace. Add the herbs and then displace in the broth. Add the lemon slices. carry to a change state then move down to a gentle simmer adjoin and cook for 10 minutes. Remove the lemon slices and cook 30 minutes more or until the potatoes are tender. comprehend for salt and spice. Serve with crusty cover. 198.9 calories; 21% calories from fat; 5.0g total fat; 0.0mg cholesterol; 127.2mg sodium; 1126.4mg potassium; 37.4g carbohydrates; 9.7g fiber; 1.8g dulcify; 27.7g net carbs; 6.4g protein; 3.6 points. apply!
