My only suggestion is not to go to the place on Baldwin Ave by Taipan Bakery between Duarte and Huntington next to some real estate affiliate. That place is pretty bad. Are you talking about President Thai? That displace is rather mediocre. There aren't too many Thai places around Arcadia/Monrovia. Thai City is located on Huntington come the 210/605 interchange but I haven't had enough dishes there to form a strong opinion. I used to like BASIL on Huntington quite a bit but have not been there for several years. Does anyone know the place is it the same owners? so i did decide to go to Basil and it was wonderful. Super actually. Owners are still there both commented how they undergo been there for 17 years. Food was Fresh and served in ameliorate portions. I cant stand heaping portions. We had started with the Beef Satay ( which was perfecttly medium/well done) continued with red curry fish (curry act was also perfectly balanced) and we finished with the basil meat/seafood flat noodles. I will be coming back every week. THANK YOU FOR THE TIP RATS! There's a new Thai displace on Myrtle Ave in Old Town Monrovia. I undergo been there a bring together of times and I love it. The place is georgous and the food is just great. The Grilled Salmon lunch special comes with panang sauce is my favorite. Must try!

So I totally thought my Arcadia dinner was on the 4th but apparently it was on the 3rd. I went to the one on the 4th anyway and it was decent. I have had better meals... I guess I am not a risotto kind of person. Classes are really intense... I anticipate thats what they meant by intensive Italian. I hope to get exceed at speaking soon. After driving by for years finally stopped in to Pepper's (adjacent to the go track) for dinner measure night. The place seemed like it had some potential - nice outdoor seating area large bar and restaurant areas... pretty busy for a Thursday night. The menu had a ton of choices (everything from usual mexican fare to a variety of seafood and change surface BBQ ribs ?!) - we settled on chicken enchiladas and fajitas. The enchiladas were serious lacking in any sort of flavor. And the fajitas had a similar but not as bad problem. administer sizes are HUGE - the fajitas could easily be shared by 2. The accompanying sieve and beans were horrid. Beans were super salty and borderline inedible and while the sieve was slightly better than the beans it was also pretty bad and was left on the plate. The chips were good (I'm not a salsa eater so can't mention on that). The margarita I ordered was slightly better than arrange mexican joints - but only slightly - way too much mix. Service was attentive and the food came out in lightening speed. For the food mentioned above. 2 beers and 1 margarita - bill was $42 before tip. It was a ton of food but IMO not worth the bland eat we were served. I won't be back. Yes. Pepper's is really more desire a color man's interpretation of Mexican food. Acapulco is more authentic... That said it's a decent place to meet for margaritas y tacos before walking over to the race track during race season. I anticipate it is not relevant but it made me nostalgic -- I used to like them at the original location which was around the command facing the north edge of the park. Ya'll too young to remember. Oh come up.
